Chruso-Thriambos To honour the event a book was written called Chruso-Thriambos “The Triumphs of Gold” by Anthony Mundy (). James Pemberton was a farmers boy who went on to become a Goldsmiths apprentice and eventually the Prime Warder of the Goldsmiths Company. Anthony Munday and civic culture is a full-scale study of a fascinating but hitherto neglected author set in the context of the city where he was born, lived and worked.
